About Me

My name is Cristine and I’m the founder of Eleven & Rose, a creative studio based in North Jersey.

More personally, I’m a creative, a proud Dominicana, a first-born daughter (IYKYK), and someone who believes deeply in the healing power of nature.

Growing up, I watched my mother make floral arrangements for birthdays, and more often than not, just because. I saw the immense joy it brought her and those she gifted them to.

When I began making them myself I did it to try and spark joy during a time when I needed it most. What I didn’t know was all the peace it would bring me as well.

The grounding practice of creating removed anxious thoughts, felt calming to my spirit and put me back in my body: grounded and safe.

Ever since, I’ve wanted to share this magic with others. Especially people of the diaspora; so many of us go through life with unregulated nervous systems and need tools to guide us — I hope florals becomes a grounding practice for you, too.
